Brand Story
Anthrōpos 诞生于三个40岁女性的重启人生之路。 她们分别来自设计、色彩、商业领域,在德国、日本、新西兰相遇,因对美的坚持与对自然材料的热爱走到一起。 一个在疫情中失去了11家餐厅的创业者,一个擅长软装与空间设计的建筑师,一个研究CMF与色彩心理的视觉专家——她们用手和心,把生活打磨成器物,把经历化为设计。
我们相信,好产品不仅实用,更有温度。我们使用天然皮革与木头,用慢工手作与极致细节,创造出能够陪伴日常、疗愈情绪的生活器物。从随身包袋到家居家具,每一件物品都延续自然材质的触感,也承载我们对生活的提案。

Anthrōpos was founded by three women in their forties, each restarting life from different corners of the world—Germany, Japan, and New Zealand. With backgrounds in design, color, and business, they came together through a shared love for natural materials and a deep respect for beauty.
From a pandemic-hit entrepreneur to a spatial designer and a color expert, they now craft objects by hand—turning life’s experiences into soulful design.
We use natural leather and wood, embracing slow craftsmanship and honest materials to create everyday pieces that offer warmth, presence, and quiet healing.
Anthrōpos is a celebration of aesthetic living, resilient women, and the power of starting again.

Ida是室内设计师,同时也是Anthrōpos的创始人,
十年间,她在德国与泰国的生活及工作塑造了Anthrōpos基因。
在德国,她理解极简的核心是“结构即装饰”:用功能性线条和材料本质构成设计基础,专注结构本身的实用性。
在泰国,她学会松弛带来的温度:从手工艺的自然肌理到人与环境的关系。
她融合两者的逻辑:剔除多余装饰,守住材料触感与使用温度,让极简设计始终存有生活痕迹。
Ida is an interior designer and the founder of Anthrōpos.
Over the past decade, her life and work in Germany and Thailand have shaped the DNA of Anthrōpos.
In Germany, she embraced the essence of minimalism—“structure as ornament.”
Design begins with functional lines and the inherent character of materials, focusing on utility and structural clarity.
In Thailand, she discovered the “warmth of relaxation”—
from the natural textures of traditional craftsmanship to the harmony between people and their surroundings.
Ida fuses these two philosophies:

一场飞机上的偶遇,是合伙人的初见。让彼此的命运有了交集。
也许就是价值的契合,让她们开始了梦想。
15年在日本和欧洲生活工作的经验,
让她了解到市场的稳定性和具有独立思考力的消费素养,
能够给到创意最直白且诚实的反馈。
日本色彩学硕士且深耕CMF趋势背景的她,
她相信,感性的表达可以传递文化的温度与手工的厚度;
也相信,永续设计与长期主义的思考,
能孕育出既实用又兼具美感的作品。
A chance encounter on a plane was the first meeting for the now business partners, bringing their destinies together.
Lucia felt, their values aligned, that this was a “match made in heaven”. And that was how their dream began.
With 15 years of experience living and working in Japan and Europe, she uses her insight into market trends and the consumer mindset, valuing independent thinking, and providing creative feedback that is straightforward and honest.
With a Master's degree in Color Science from Japan and a strong background in CMF trends, she believes that emotions can convey the warmth of culture and the depth of craftsmanship; she also believes that sustainable design and a long-term perspective
can create art pieces that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

With a background as an actress, model, and assistant director, Miranda brings a sharp eye for narrative and visual aesthetics.
She successfully founded and operated 11 cross-border restaurants across Southeast Asia, with deep expertise in brand strategy, marketing, and operational excellence.
She believes that a truly impactful brand goes beyond products—it offers a lifestyle proposition that resonates across cultures.
Now based in New Zealand, Miranda infuses the country’s calm rhythm and vitality into Anthrōpos,
leveraging her unique perspective and unwavering resilience to navigate complexity and craft meaningful solutions.

室内设计专业出身,因偶然契机转行手工皮具领域。从业十余年,系统学习磨刀、缝线等基础工艺,掌握植鞣与铬鞣技术,专注对标爱马仕工艺体系。
她坚持严苛选材标准:只选用高密度、足油脂的皮胚,疤痕无关品质,更关注能否承载数十年使用。熟谙皮革特性,能依据皮料硬度与纹理调整工艺,让材料特性主导设计走向。
十年间始终以系统性思维推进创作,从工艺打磨到成品交付,每个环节皆闭环完成。
她“如皮革般可靠”——交付即是承诺,未完成的作品从不会留在工作台上。
Originally trained in interior design, An An transitioned into the world of handcrafted leather goods through a chance encounter. With over a decade of experience, she has systematically studied foundational techniques such as blade sharpening and saddle stitching, mastering both vegetable-tanned and chrome-tanned leatherwork, and is committed to a craftsmanship standard aligned with the spirit of French luxury fashion brands she worked for.
She upholds rigorous material selection standards—choosing only high-density, oil-rich leathers. Scars are not flaws in her eyes; what matters is whether the leather can endure decades of use. Deeply knowledgeable about leather’s natural characteristics, she adapts her techniques to suit each material’s hardness and texture, letting the essence of the material guide the design process.
For ten years, she has advanced her craft with a systemic approach—every stage from tooling to final delivery is completed within a self-contained loop.
An An is “as reliable as leather”—delivery is a promise, and no unfinished piece has ever left her workbench.

土木工程专业出身,从业六年,为了学习木作,跟随全国各地匠人同工同住习得传统木作技艺。
他擅长以建筑思维优化家具结构,从选材阶段便介入把控:木料纹理匹配度、湿度稳定性、承重节点强化均需通过三重校验。
“好家具是计算与直觉的平衡。”六年里他持续迭代工艺,坚持自己对工艺细节的高要求。
Originally a studied civil engineer, Liang Shubin has been in the furniture-making industry for six years. In order to learn woodworking, he lived and worked alongside traditional craftsmen across the country to master various traditional woodworking skills.
Using his former background, he is adept at optimizing furniture structures with architectural thinking. From the material selection stage, he gets involved in quality control: the matching degree of wood grain patterns, moisture stability, and reinforcement of load-bearing joints all need to pass three rounds of inspection.
"Good furniture is a balance between calculation and intuition." Over the past six years, he has continuously refined his craftsmanship, adhering to his high standards for craft and details.
